Feb. 6th, 2005 06:57 pmi guess i should do a proper update, as i notice i haven't written anything in awhile.
i've not been doing much, just a lot of working and stuff.
i was sick for a week with the cold everyone around here seems to have, so i got a lot of Nintendo hours in.
i've been going nuts buying all sorts of Zelda paraphernalia, including the newest Gameboy game The Minish Cap, and also A Link To The Past (for Gameboy). i'm debating buying a Super Nintendo, for there are a few games of Iggy's i miss playing. i'll have to check around at used game shops, or on Ebay, and wait til my next paycheck.
and, ah yes, the Comic Convention today. actually, it was yesterday and today, but i could only go today. and even then, i had to ask work to let me out an hour early. a big thank you goes out to my parents for driving me all the way down to downtown Seattle, in the rain and yucky traffic, just so i could pay $10 to get my arm signed.
and to spend $30 at the Slave Labor Graphics table, and a further $24 when i GLEEFULLY discovered a table covered with action figures, including not one but TWO "chick" Phantom of the Paradise figures (each of a different color scheme) like the one i found on Ebay not too long ago. and these together cost as much as the one i bought before.
oh ya, and there's this cute little comic book (put out by SLG) called "Egg Story" about a boy egg named Feather!!! and he becomes a ninja!! for the first time, i got to experience the odd sensation of seeing my name, as a name, in print, as someone else's name.
needless to say, i am a very happy Feather right now.
