ganked from [livejournal.com profile] schonste :

now, i'm not necessarily a complete and total atheist (i waver among the Arnold Rimmer "Aliens!" theory, universe-sized Douglas Adams-like Coincidences and "Hell, I don't know!"), but i thought this was pretty rad nevertheless.

Apparently most of those guys have quotes claiming that they were never Atheists -- but they said that in the way that you consider yourself. Carl Sagan said, "An atheist must know more than I know." Because they were scientists and other intellectuals, they obviously didn't believe in absolutes, but I think it's insulting to suggest that atheists MUST "believe" in absolutes as well. So, the macro rules

science rules

atheism ruuules
