Apparently most of those guys have quotes claiming that they were never Atheists -- but they said that in the way that you consider yourself. Carl Sagan said, "An atheist must know more than I know." Because they were scientists and other intellectuals, they obviously didn't believe in absolutes, but I think it's insulting to suggest that atheists MUST "believe" in absolutes as well.
